Your spiritual journey starts in the morning with a pickup from Gorakhpur Railway Station or your residence. We begin the comfortable drive to Ayodhya (approx. 135 km / 3-3.5 hours) via the scenic NH-27.
Upon arrival in the holy city of Ayodhya, check into your pre-booked hotel and freshen up. After some rest, we head towards the Saryu River. You can enjoy a peaceful boat ride (optional) and witness the magnificent Saryu Aarti at Ram Ki Paidi in the evening. The sight of thousands of diyas floating on the river and the chanting of mantras creates a divine atmosphere.
Return to the hotel for a delicious vegetarian dinner and overnight stay.
Wake up early to the sound of temple bells. After breakfast, we proceed for the most awaited moment of the trip – Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Darshan. Witness the grandeur of the newly built Ram Mandir and offer your prayers to Ram Lalla.
Post Darshan, we visit Hanuman Garhi. It is believed that one must visit Lord Hanuman before visiting Lord Ram. You will have to climb 76 steps to reach this 10th-century temple which looks like a fortress.
Later, we visit Kanak Bhawan, a beautiful palace gifted to Sita Devi by Kaikeyi. We will also visit Dashrath Mahal (the royal palace of King Dashrath) and Sita Ki Rasoi. In the evening, explore the local market near the temple complex for souvenirs like Ramnami gamchas and wooden models of the temple. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Before leaving Ayodhya, we drive to Guptar Ghat, a serene spot on the banks of Saryu where Lord Rama is believed to have taken Jal Samadhi. It is a very peaceful place perfect for meditation.
Next, we visit Nandigram (Bharat Kund), located about 20 km away. This is the place where Bharat Ji lived in a cave and ruled Ayodhya by placing Lord Rama's wooden sandals (Charan Paduka) on the throne for 14 years.
With a heart full of blessings and divine memories, we begin our return drive to Gorakhpur. You will be dropped off at Gorakhpur Railway Station or your home by evening, marking the end of this sacred Yatra with Complete Shree Sai Travelss.
